How does Kamiwaza protect sensitive data?

Zero-data-movement architecture with ReBAC

Data security is not a feature in Kamiwaza; it is foundational to the platform architecture. Every element of the platform is designed around the principle that data should never leave its secure perimeter.

Zero Data Movement

Kamiwaza's Distributed Data Engine processes AI at the data source. Raw data never travels to a central cloud or external system. Only the results of AI processing are returned, within the bounds of the requesting user's permissions.

Security Architecture

Kamiwaza's security is embedded in the architecture itself: the Inference Mesh runs AI at the data source so data never leaves its perimeter, and Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) ensures every operation inherits the exact permissions of the requesting user. Every interaction is logged for full auditability.

ReBAC

Relationship-Based Access Control ensures every AI agent operates within the exact permissions of the user it assists. If the user can't see a file, neither can the AI. This applies to every data source, every tool, and every workflow.

Compliance Support

Kamiwaza's stack supports organizations seeking compliance with financial services regulations, healthcare privacy requirements (HIPAA), and government security standards including DISA STIG-hardened containers for IL 2-6 clearance levels.
